Robin AI Healthcare App.

Robin is an AI-powered health companion designed to help people navigate chronic illness with more clarity and less anxiety. We designed the end-to-end product experience, translating the brand's personality into an interface that felt as human and considered as the identity it was built on.

Challenge

(01)

A strong brand personality means nothing if the product does not deliver it.

Having established Robin's identity, the harder challenge was making the app itself feel the same way. Health management tools tend to prioritise information density over emotional experience: useful, but exhausting to use. Robin needed an interface that reduced cognitive load, surfaced the right information at the right moment, and made people feel supported rather than monitored. Every interaction had to earn the trust the brand promised.

Approach

(02)

We designed for emotional experience first, functionality second.

We mapped the key user journeys around the emotional states people bring to them: anxious, fatigued, overwhelmed, and used those as the design brief for each screen. Spacing, motion, and typographic hierarchy were all calibrated to reduce visual noise and create a sense of calm. The landing page was designed in parallel with the app so that the experience of discovering Robin felt continuous with the experience of using it.

Outcome

(03)

An interface as considered as the brand it represents.

The final product felt coherent from first impression to daily use, a rarity in health tech, where brand and product are often designed in isolation. The design system gave the Robin team a scalable foundation, and the landing page communicated the product's value clearly to both the patients it was designed for and the investors the team was actively pitching.
